Maceió!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bom Dia!!
Escrevo diretamente de Maceió, a primeira praia que visitamos nessa longa viagem!! Hoje faz mais um ensolarado e quente dia aqui no Nordeste do Brasil!
Os dias aqui foram deliciosos! No dia que chegamos, visitamos as Piscinas Naturais de Pajuçara, lindíssima praia onde também estamos hospedados!! À noite, fomos dançar forró no tradicional Lampião, uma casa de show a beira-mar, na Praia da Ponta Verde: todos mostraram o que aprenderam em nossa aula em Brasília!!
Ontem pela manhã, acordamos cedo e seguimos até a Barra de São Miguel, onde pegamos um barco e atravessamos para a MARAVILHOSA praia do Gunga, uma das mais lindas de todo o Nordeste. Após muita dança e diversão no barco, chegamos e ficamos lá por mais de 4 horas: todos nadaram e aproveitaram bastante!!! Fomos depois para a Feirinha do Pontal, com um belo artesanato, e rendas.
Hoje, como a manhã é livre, a maioria aproveita para dormir até um pouco mais tarde, enquanto outros estão na piscina curtindo a ultima manhã em Maceió!
Partiremos logo após o almoço para Fortaleza, no Ceará, e de lá mando mais notícias.

Good Morning!!
I write now from Maceió, first beach of the trip!! Today is another sunny and hot day here at the Northeast of Brazil!!
The days here were great. We arrived here on Thursday, and went straight to visit Pajuçara Natural pools. Pajuçara is a marvelous beach here, where we are also staying. At night we danced forró at Lampião, a traditional forró house, in front of the sea. The students showed what they learned at the Forró Class in Brasilia!!
Yesterday morning, we woke up early and went to Barra de São Miguel where we took a boat to cross to Gunga Beach, one of the most PERFECT of the Northeast. After a lot of dance and fun at the boat, we arrived and stayed there for more than four hours: the students swam and enjoyed a lot! After, we went to get to know the Pontal Fair, famous for its beautiful handicraft.
At this moment, as it is a free morning, some students are sleeping and others enjoying the hotel swimming pool.
After lunch, we’re going to Fortaleza, in Ceará state and from there I’ll send more news!

Lençóis - Chapada Diamantina!!!
Bom Dia!!
Escrevo agora de Lençóis, no parque Nacional da Chapada Diamantina, na Bahia!! No caminho de Brasília para cá, paramos em uma cidade chamada Ibotirama, aqui na Bahia, cidade cortada pelo Rio São Francisco e bem próxima daqui.
Dormimos lá e segunda cedo já estávamos de saída para o nosso primeiro dia de passeios na Chapada: A fazenda Pratinha e a gruta Lapa Doce. Dividimos os grupos entre as grutas, assim deu tempo de sobra de todos fazerem tudo com calma!
Os estudantes divertiram-se bastante na tirolesa, fazendo snorkelling e nadando na Pratinha e ficaram encantados com as formações da Lapa Doce. No final da tarde, chegamos ao nosso maravilhoso hotel 5 estrelas na cidade de Lençóis: todos aproveitaram para nadar e aproveitar a infra-estrutura desse delicioso hotel! À noite, após o jantar e a reunião, tivemos uma apresentação de capoeira com mais de 30 capoeiristas. Todos simplesmente adoraram!
Os passeios aqui foram bem cansativos. Ontem subimos ate o alto do Morro do Pai Inácio, nadamos no Rio Mucugezinho e hoje cedo nos esbaldamos no escorregador natural: todos adoraram!!
Estamos bem cansados de todas as caminhadas e passeios que fizemos aqui, mas FOI MUITO BOM!!!
Estamos de saída agora para Maceió, a primeira praia da viagem: todos estão MUITO ANIMADOS!! Porém, só vamos chegar lá amanhã, pois hoje vamos fazer um pernoite técnico em Aracaju, para descansar e evitar estradas à noite, para a maior segurança do grupo!

Good morning!!
I write now from Lençóis, at Chapada Diamantina National Park, in Bahia state! On our way here, we stopped to spend the night and rest at a city called Ibotirama, also in Bahia state. Monday morning, we went to our first day of tours at Chapada Diamantina: Pratinha farm and Lapa Doce cave. We divided the group in two, so everyone had a lot of time to enjoy each tour.
The students had lot of fun at Pratinha making snorkeling and zip line, and got impressed with the beauty and exuberance of the cave’s formations at Lapa Doce.
In the afternoon, we arrived at our five stars hotel in Lençóis: the students enjoyed the free time to swim, and enjoy the hotel’s infrastructure! At night, after dinner and meeting, a surprise was waiting for them: a very special capoeira presentation!! More than 30 participants! Capoeira is a typical mixture of dance and fight left from the African slaves to the Brazilian culture and it’s really strong at Bahia state! Everyone just loved it!
The tours here were really tiring!! Yesterday we went to the top of Pai Inácio hill, swam at Mucugezinho River and today everyone had a blast at the Natural slide: the students just loved it!!
We are really tired because of all trekking we made here: but IT WAS AWESOME!!
In a bit, we will continue our journey to Maceió, the first beach of the trip!! Everyone is really excited about it!! We will arrive there just tomorrow, because today we will stop at a city called Aracaju, to rest and avoid driving at night, thinking about the safety of the group!
